Good Deed

Today, I donated my blood to the blood bank of Sarawak General Hospital. Actually, a father of a friend is in critical condition and in need of blood, specifically type O. I did not know what my blood type was and each and every one of us were thinking of who has the same group of blood type to donate. There are some who actually has the same blood type but most of them does not have enough sleep. Well, after they have donated, me, my girlfriend and two of my friends waited for my girlfriend's cousin to show up as he has received the news from her to donate blood. While waiting for him donating his blood, a stranger walked towards us asking if we were there to donate blood, as her sister or cousin is in desperate need of A blood group. We told her that we were supposed to donate for another person but since me and my friend have the same blood group, we decided to donate as it was the right thing to do.

Never thought that donating blood could be fun although the thought of a big needle was going into your arm makes you nervous but in the end, you are doing a good deed..

P.S.: My friend's father is still in need of blood and I hoped that everyone can help donate blood. Every drop of blood can make a difference. Thank you.
