boycott?

i guess i'm too late to post about this thing right now but nevermind. since the attacks of Gaza, many people or should i say, most, wanted to boycott american products as the are the ones who are 'funding' the attacks for the israelis. products like coca-cola, mcdonalds, and other brands are so-called boycotted in this period of time. what about me? i don't actually see the point of boycotting these products as they are actually our people's source of income. don't think i'm right? let me put it this way. do we imports those cans and drinks of coca-cola from the united states? read the labels. manufactured in malaysia. our own country, meaning people are working in the company to make these beverages for us. we stop buying, they could not support their families, right? and about not going to mcdonalds or even kfc is just rediculous. still you crave for the food there. and most importantly, the major failure as i can say, before any 'boycotting' procedures are taken is that most of us don't really care about these things until things like these happen. you're an everyday drinking coke guy, and suddenly you want to stop because of the invasion, the killing of people there, which you could possibly do nothing about? how about local products then? as many complaints about our national cars (for example), they still buy imported brands of vehicles, and because of what? quality? to show wealth? never for the right reason, which is supporting our own labels...
what does this means? figure it out yourself...

Its kinda hard when I rhink about it again. Coz most of the things we use in our daily life would either come from America or Japan etc...

SO why does only some stuff are banned while others aren't?

Hmmm...p stakat tok blom gk aku pg McD lah. Ya jak yg aku rasa aku...kinda 'boikot'.

Saiful, ur never too late to post an entry of opinion... nor m i too late to read it... u've got a strong point about the boycott on those products.. so lets think rationally, thr r othr ways n means to overcome our thoughts on the war.. if we support, thn we do wots rite... thrs always thgs like voting for peace, justice & humanity.. participating and supporting in organizations to help & give aid, if nt directly, to those linking to the war in Gaza & related issues.. we are Malaysian. even if our ex-PM tells us to boycott, which we are torn to do so looking at the stats tat mcD is already part & partial of our daily life (including me OMG!), we cud find alternatives to help iyeah.. even writing in blogs like ths helps indirectly.. it helps thm because we care, we want to know n we've got our own voice & opinions on the matter too... nywayz, good entry Saiful! =)

Osaka.
